Our President, Helen Dyck, was back at the helm this morning welcoming 21 Rotarians and 1 guest.

We were pleased to welcome Jim Coulter from Saskatoon.
President Helen advised The Rotary Club of Qualicum Beach Sunrise is selling tickets at $10 and you could win a cruise. While we have decided not to take part in the direct selling of tickets, we are urged to help sell them or at least purchase one for ourselves.
Lynn Pearson, Foundation Chair, presented Ray Walker with his 5+ Paul Harris and Steve Alexander-Pope received a Paul Harris.
John O’Brien, ADG, presented a Certificate of Accomplishment to our Club from the Rotary Foundation for our contributions etc.
Diana Mastuda advised the Uncorked event needs drivers on March 8 and 9th. Let her know if are willing.
Garry Cox took the floor to advise the RCMP Musical Ride will occur on August 21st and 22nd in the evening. On Monday march 5 a meeting will happen with RCMP to inspect the site and all are welcome. Contact Garry if you would like to attend. John O’Brien will Co Chair, Steve-Treasurer, Ray Ticket Controller, Laurie and Don signage and media, Ron concession  along with Elaine and Interact. Tickets will be sold thru Marlin Travel, Close to You and of course by all.
Gord Svenson and John O’Brien advised the Casino Night of March 17 is approaching quickly. This joint project with the Lions Club is raising funds for the maintenance of the splash park. Volunteers are needed and if you can donate a could of bottles of wine for the wine wall raffle. Call them when you have your bottles and they will pick up.
John O’Brien, Sergeant at Arms willingly and expertly fined all those in attendance..No mercy was shown and our operating income rose!
