Ray Walker, President, welcomed everyone to our meeting at McD’s and welcomed all to enjoy a breakfast from McDonald’s. Our Guests: Angelina Street from the Salvation Army Presentation Angelina Street thanked our club for participating in the Salvation Army Kettle drive in December 2019. The Kettle drive raised $104,000, just shy of their goal of $110,000. These funds stay in our district thus providing the many helping programs the Salvation Army provides to whoever needs help. Rotary Education: Our Don Luke spoke on February, The Peace Month, where Rotary stresses Peace for People via their foundation. There is conflict and violence throughout this world and Rotary’s desire through our many programs is to gain peace through the understanding of issues and cultures. Announcements: Mexico Project is set for Feb 2 to 12, 2021. Think about it. Maybe its within your grasp! Watch for Bill’s email for the dates of the Little Mountain cleanup!
